My bestfriend and I decided to chill for awhile from our own busy schedules. Just in time we discover Villa de Mercedes as a marvelous place to unwind yet not so far away from the City proper. The place is so perfect and the trip planning is a hassle free. Since the place is a private subdivision, you have to make a reservation first for you to enter. It would be easy if you've known someone living there, but in our case, we had our reservation through Moreno Agency.
How to get there:
Honestly, it would be easy and convenient if you have a private vehicle since the place is away from the city and no direct public jeepney route on the area. The place is also far from the main road. But no worries if you don't have one since there are still possible ways to get there. If there's a will, there's a way, right!
What we did was we rode a PUJ via Toril and stopped at Toril crossing area or near Chowking that costs us Php20 each. We then rode a motorcycle to get to Villa de Mercedes. We haggled the price with the motorcycle driver and we paid Php50 each (not bad). You can also ride a taxi for convenience. It would be better if you asked the motorcycle or taxi driver to fetch you as there are no transportation service at the area at night.
Fees:
Weekdays - Php 150
Weekend - Php 200
You can also avail a package of swim and dine for Php 400. (This is what we availed)
Bringing of food inside is not allowed. They have a restaurant though where you can order for an affordable price. Cottages are free and bath towels are provided.

The place is really perfect for relaxation and so as a venue for important events such as wedding or any kind of party. The view and ambiance says it all.
